braid a small section of your bottom layer of hair
Pull the braid across and secure with a bobby pin
If you want to do a double headband braid, repeat from the other side. I normally pull my braids apart for a thicker look. I didn’t wear any extensions here, but you could incorporate them easily into this if you wanted.
This is such a simple style that takes only a couple minutes and my favorite braids are fishtail with this look (but those can take a while to do and I did this just sitting on my patio haha)

So pretty! Great post! Just followed you π feel free to follow me back if youβd like, Iβm a fashion and beauty blogger π http://www.meganleighstringer.wordpress.com xxx
Greetings from Western MA, I love this hairstyle! I’m so bummed I don’t have my long waves anymore, slowly regrowing hair, will be trying this. It looks lovely * Beautiful pictures by the way π
Her hair is nearly to her waist (she’s 5) so I’m always looking for cute, simple ways to style it. She especially loves anything that could be named after a princess (ex: a french braid is “Tangled” hair, half-up do is “Belle” hair …etc)

I filmed a tutorial but it needs a bit of editing before I post it! ( don’t want to look too silly) haha! That’s one of my favorites!

Oh wonderful! I can’t wait to see it. I’m horrible at doing hair but don’t want my daughter to suffer because of it, LOL.
