Polka Dots

I am so bummed that these pictures came out blurry! I almost want to try to re-shoot this look but in the meantime I wanted to share a few pics of my Memorial Day outfit with you guys!

I actually bought this polka dot dress from Forever 21 years & years ago and it accidentally got thrown in the dryer one day so it was pretty much a shirt on me after that. The other day, I was cleaning out my closet about to toss it when I decided to try one last thing. I filled a bucket with lukewarm water and added some hair conditioner letting my dress soak in it for 30 minutes and later came back and stretched it a bit and set it to airdry. The dress actually is long enough to wear in public again! haha I’m thrilled because I loved it and wanted to let everyone know that tip in case the same thing happened to any of you!

Hope everyone had an amazing holiday weekend! Lots of fun posts in the works now and I’m soooo happy to tell you I will be back in Europe this summer 🙂

  1. Don’t feel so bad about the pics. My shaky hands always trip me up. The second and last ones were the best. I look forward to reading your summer European adventures. (Of course, you look amazing.)

  2. I thought the blur is a camera effect in your photos because it actually added an effect to it. Jonas is right do not feel bad about your pics because as what I saw, your photos were great 🙂 you looks so pretty.

  3. I will have to try that trick. I always shrink my clothes in the dyrer. You look so pretty love the shoes. Where are they from? sunndaazze.wordpress.com

  4. I’ve never heard of this tip but I’m liking the sound of it! How much hair conditioner did you use? I have a few clothes that I didn’t have the heart to throw out that I could give this a try with!

  5. Hi Charlotte, it’s a true pleasure, that you always are posing with flowers, these delicate and colorful creatures that daily gives us Mother Nature. These days in my blog there is a flora collection that maybe you would like it. Thanks for sharing and congrats for your wonderful blog <3

      1. The brief life of these delicated and splendid creatures is accompanying our events. when a mother gives birth, when people marry, when there is some celebration on a podium, when we will die. Flowers are selfless friends. Thanks Charlotte for your comment <3
